…“Es Palau Roig, Mahón, Menorca”…

Known for its striking natural harbour of more than 3 miles, Mahón retains a colonial feel due to its British occupation.  Without having big noble Quarters or enormous buildings, Mahon is a small city with a tiny population but bursting with character.  With its small streets and corners it’s very easy to get lost! Cultural and sportive activities of Mahón are those of a big city: theatres, museums, exhibitions, cultural centres….but also sports centres, gyms, tennis and paddle courts, diving centres, sailing schools, racecourses, dance schools,…almost everything.  The same happens with gastronomy, leisure and shopping; lots of good restaurants and bars in the harbour, and numerous and known shops in the pedestrian area in the centre of the capital. Thanks to its intrinsic characteristics, quality of life and its inhabitants personality,   Mahón is nowadays one of the Mediterranean city’s where it is possible to find this balance between leisure and business, which is, after all, where quality of life really begins.

An eighteenth century palace, Es Palau Roig is now restored to turn it into a twenty first century home without losing the charms of its noble past. Located in a quiet street, next to one of the most noble streets of the city and one step from the city centre, Es Palau Roig has been remodelled and extended to create luxury homes with secure parking which perfectly combine tradition and modern living.  Undoubtedly, they are ideal homes for those who are looking for something special in a privileged area.

Menorca is the most eastern of the Balearic Islands.  The small paradise is 53km wide, and presents a rich ecological and cultural heritage, declared a “Biosphere Reserve” by UNESCO in 1993. The coastline it 200km long lined with beautiful cliffs, small coves, long beaches with crystal clear waters and natural harbours where you can practice all kinds of nautical activities.  Menorca has a great open-air museum full with archaeological heritages and 8 main towns: Mahón Ciutadella, Alaior, Ferreries, Es Mercadal, Es Castell, Sant Lluis and Es Migjorn which have all been able to combine tradition and growth perfectly.
